After a few requests, Pete and I finally decided to do this; A COOKING DEMONSTRATION!
We would love to do a cooking class but I don’t think we have enough facilities in our small flat so a cooking demo will have to do. Pete and I are two very different cooks. As you know, I love to bake but Pete is the one that cooks our main meals. He is very adventurous with his cooking and can turn out a mean roast!

It will be from 9am to 12pm on Sunday the 14th of November 2010 in our little flat in Bandar at $40 a person or $70 for a couple. We will do the cooking demo first then a small lunch will be served with what we had cooked that day. We can only accommodate 6 people a class.

STARTER: CRAB CAKES WITH MANGO SALSA
I made this a few times when friends come for dinner and it is a versatile dish that fits with different types of main courses.
Fresh crabmeat with mixed with herbs served with a tasty mango salsa
MAIN: PETE’S ROASTED CHICKEN WITH PINE NUTS AND CITRUS FRUITS
Out of all of Pete’s Chicken dinners, this is my favourite.
Inspired by a dish we tasted in a Morrocan Restaurant, it is an interesting dish with many exciting flavours and quite easy to make!
DESSERT: HEAVENLY CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE
