As my dad in law says, we have to be politically correct when naming ginger bread men these days. Anyway, it is getting quite close to Christmas and to put everyone in the mood (plus I was getting baking cupcakes withdrawal), I decided to make gingerbread men! They were fairly easy to make and Pete did most of the cutting while I did the decorating. The first batch were very burnt because we weren’t sure about the strength of the oven, the next batch wasn’t gingery enough but the third batch were PERFECT!! I had so much fun decorating these that Pete’s mum actually got out of bed and did few too!
